It has been a long time since Google has blocked its services for Iranians

That means even before the sanctions, we didn't have access to some of Google's services, and with the implementation of sanctions, these restrictions have become much more severe

I remember that even a long time ago, they wouldn't include Iran as a country in apps and famous websites like Google, Yahoo, Microsoft

In my opinion, this was a malicious policy that was from the very beginning intended for Iranians and Persian speakers in particular.

The same issue of the clash between Western and Eastern cultures that we see in movies and media is interesting; they have no other enmity with the East and only Iran matters to them. The Chinese have become so powerful that the West cannot consider any confrontation with them, or if it's an economic war like between Samsung and Apple, the playing field is clear.

But what is not clear to ordinary Iranian users and experts is their confusing policy with us.

They have a problem with the government but in practice, they have targeted the people, and most people suffer more.

For years, mobile developers have encountered problems in Google panels, and we use various methods to bypass sanctions, but they still identify and remove our applications or completely close the developer panel.

So why is Google important when there are Cafe Bazaar and other app markets for mobile applications?

Well, Cafe Bazaar has its own monopolistic policy and blocks certain apps while promoting others. What we see is that there is no fairness in their work, and if it weren't for Google's sanctions, Cafe Bazaar and others wouldn't even have been around to compete.

For the mobile app market, Cafe Bazaar has benefited the most from the sanctions by attracting many users and creating a monopoly market where many apps, after spending a lot of money, couldn't secure their position, like Sheypoor and …

Cafe Bazaar has a policy that for in-app payments, we must use Cafe Bazaar's own payment gateway, but in Google, even for us Iranians, we can define Iranian bank gateways and there is no Google in-app payment. ( play.google.com)

Compared to Cafe Bazaar, Google is a place where we can be free from this monopoly and have healthier competition. Separately, by receiving services like Google AdMob, we can earn in foreign currency (dollars) and even build global applications.

When the market is freer, there is healthier competition and higher revenue for apps that put in more effort or use more effective techniques in digital marketing.

Unfortunately, despite having influential Iranians at Google, I have never seen them try to advocate for the rights of experts in this field. They just boast about working at Google and take pride in being Iranian, which in my opinion is just to attract attention and build their personal brand.

One solution I found was to ask Iranians who are abroad to create accounts for us, and through a VPS, we can manage and publish our applications.

Of course, there are individuals who create accounts and sell them at high prices, for example, 8 to 12 million. Consider that the cost of creating an account is only 25 dollars, which is about 1 million tomans. But because of sanctions, we have to pay 12 times more to create another identity for ourselves and be able to present our business.

Developer accounts, by connecting to google admob, can boost our business. Of course, for the Google AdMob part, you need to receive money through an intermediary, and that has its own separate story.
