Q&A – Investment –Startup– Part Four

Hello and welcome. We have published the fourth part of Q&A for a startup to attract investors on Mehrdad's website. We hope it can help you as well.
◾️#Question
Will the idea, plan, or demo be provided to the investor?
🔹#Answer
First, we need to see at what stage of #negotiation we are.
At the beginning of the conversation, nothing is provided to the investor at all
unless it's stipulated in the contract
or sufficient guarantees have been provided to present a demo, plan.
And for this reason, we only want to talk with investors with high #business_knowledge.
◾️Question
Should the investor pay an amount to you first?
🔹Answer
No, we do not receive any amount from the investor.
The investor will invest in the project and its current operating costs, and naturally, if the project is executed abroad, the related costs will also be paid by the investor, which of course,
is enforceable based on the agreements in the contract signed by the lawyers of both parties.
◾️#Question
If the investor is abroad, do you enter negotiations?
In any case, do you accept foreign investors?
🔹#Answer
It makes no difference to us where the investor is, and if they are abroad, it doesn't matter if they are Iranian or foreign.
Only our initial negotiations are virtual, and if it becomes serious, it must take place in person or the investor's legal lawyer must be present and register the contract.
◾️Question
If I have domestic or foreign investors, how is my commission fee structured?
🔹Answer
We have previously explained that it will be paid in the form of meeting minutes or a written contract, according to the agreement, your #commission fee will be paid.
