Every team will draw that line somewhere different and the product is honest enough to make the line visible instead of hiding it in a settings maze.
I keep the same principle in the products I build: context should be earned per surface instead of granted all at once. It costs more engineering time and it is the only version of this that ages well.
Assistants that come to you will beat assistants you have to visit — of that much I am confident. The open question is whether a cross-tool layer can stay fast and trustworthy as it grows. Superhuman Go is the most serious attempt I have seen at making embedded help feel native instead of bolted on. For anyone whose day is a wall of threads and meetings it is worth a month of honest trial.
